A layer mask is something that goes over a layer to hide parts of it without actually deleting them What do you like about your Composition? I like the colors and images I used What would you change about your composition if you were to do it again? I would find ways to connect the images together more and make their colors match up with the background more. Adding graphics was not difficult as I could easily ensure that the shapes were evenly spaced and similarly sized through the menu on the right side 2. What was the easiest part of the activity today? Creating shapes and adding text 3. What was the most difficult part? Find images that would fit into the shapes, I couldn't find images that fit well into each shape and didn't appear larger or smaller than other icons I used for some items such as the last controller and the Steam logo. 4. Why did you chose to use the menu items you used? I chose the menu items I used because they are relevant to my brand which is focused around controllers for fighting games. Clicking on the icons at the top would allow you to easily find which controllers are compatible with your system while the recommended items are all for PlayStation or PC since those are the platforms they use in tournaments. One objection to his work states that streamlining a product (i.e. removing obstacles to learning) can result in a lack of consciousness about said product’s true inner-workings, resulting in what? The result not lining up with user expectations or not being clear 10. What man said: “You’ve got to start with the customer experience and work back toward the technology—not the other way around.” and why would that be important? Steve Jobs Part 3: 1. 2 apps that you think have great user experience and tell me why. Think about intuition, placement of menu, use of imagery, visual hierarchy and color. I think the Discord app has a great user experience, the bottom includes different icons that give you an idea of what clicking on them will lead to such as a person waving for the friends page. The colors are easy on the eyes, the icon of the page you're currently on becomes brighter to represent you're currently on that page, and buttons that might be important to the user like the "add friends" button are in vibrant colors to make them easily visible. I think the FIAWEC TV app also has a good user experience, you can easily access everything from the home page. The last race is shown at the top, so that you can easily find it if you missed it. Then by scrolling down, you can easily find the full schedule of upcoming races, news, the championship standings, and the race replays from the previous year. 1.
