Part 1:
1. How do you feel after watching that video? I feel like accommodations should be made for people with the the condition that the speaker has. 2. As a designer, what could be done to make experiences better for Sinéad? Areas where smaller sized people can get around just as easily as average height people could be made. For example, a plane could have specialized seats or a way to adjust the regular seats that a small person can comfortably use 3. When you think about how it is to experience life the way she does, what is that called? Living with a disability Part 2: 1. What man said: “You’ve got to start with the customer experience and work back toward the technology—not the other way around.” and why would that be important? Steve Jobs Part 3: 1. 2 apps that you think have great user experience and tell me why. Think about intuition, placement of menu, use of imagery, visual hierarchy and color. I think the Discord app has a great user experience, the bottom includes different icons that give you an idea of what clicking on them will lead to such as a person waving for the friends page. The colors are easy on the eyes, the icon of the page you're currently on becomes brighter to represent you're currently on that page, and buttons that might be important to the user like the "add friends" button are in vibrant colors to make them easily visible. I think the FIAWEC TV app also has a good user experience, you can easily access everything from the home page. The last race is shown at the top, so that you can easily find it if you missed it. Then by scrolling down, you can easily find the full schedule of upcoming races, news, the championship standings, and the race replays from the previous year.
